"Hey Gang! We’re closing our laptops this Thursday, June 19, to honor Juneteenth, the 160-year anniversary of the day freedom finally(!!) reached every corner of the United States. Before we sign off, though, we can’t resist spotlighting a few Black-owned gems we love to shop and share.
Locally, Philly favorites like Harriet’s Bookshop in Fishtown (oooo….they opened a new location in Collingswood, Ida’s Bookshop) are always a fun place to browse, and I’ve been meaning to try Chateau Rouge, a restaurant with a seriously gorgeous interior that blends african with french cuisine. Looks amazing.
Enjoy the day and be sure to support Black businesses and Black creators (@clarabelletoks, and @thehumanityarchive are two of my favs).
13. Lemlem Ava Bikini

Lemlem can do no wrong (if you aren’t yet familiar, it’s a really fun browse), but this bikini is calling my name."
