Shipping & Returns

Our warehouse will be closed for inventory from January 28th to January 30th. Any order placed after 1pm on January 27th will be shipped on February 3rd.

Domestic Shipping

All orders are shipped from our third-party warehouse in New Jersey. After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email including your order number and the list of items purchased.

All orders placed before 12pm EST Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, will begin processing that day and will ship within 48 hours, pending availability and payment verification.

Orders placed after 12pm EST, will begin processing the next business day.

Orders received after 12pm EST on Friday will be processed the following Monday.

We are currently unable to offer overnight shipping or ship to PO Boxes. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Transit times do not include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

Please note that holidays and peak sales times may alter your shipment time. Tracking information will be updated one business day after your order has shipped.

All lemlem orders are shipped from our warehouse in New Jersey.

Continental United States:

Alaska and Hawaii:
- FedEx Ground: $49
- FedEx 2-Day: $65

International Shipping

Due to the high cost of shipping, all International Orders are Final Sale. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages.

All international packages are sent via FedEx International Priority or DHL Express Worldwide. Both shipping providers feature tracking and gets orders to all major markets in 3-5 business days.

Duties and taxes vary by country, and customers are responsible for any customs or duties that may be assessed by their country when the package arrives. We do not accept responsibility for orders not accepted due to failure to pay duties and taxes.

If the Import Fees on an international package are not paid upon receipt, the package will be returned to us. If the shipment is refused, the package is undeliverable, or the Import Fees are not paid, you will be responsible for the original shipping charges as well as the return shipping and Import Fees.

Final Sale

Please note that all International Orders and any items purchased on-sale are Final Sale


We want you to be completely happy with your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied, lemlem accepts domestic returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged merchandise with all tags attached, for a refund within 14 days of delivery.

In addition, all Swim items must have their hygienic liners attached, as well as merchandise tags.

We reserve the right to refuse returns on merchandise that does not meet these policy requirements.

This policy excludes Final Sale items and all International orders which ship from the US warehouse, which are not eligible for return or exchange.

Please reach out to to receive an RA# and begin the returns process.

All returns require an RA# to be processed.

Customers will be notified via e-mail when the return has been processed by our warehouse and credited to the original purchaser's credit card. Refunds can only be issued in the form of original payment.

Refunds will include sales taxes if your order has been sent to a destination within the US. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We make every effort to process your return as quickly as possible. However, please allow up to 21 days for it to be processed. Credit card refunds may take up to an additional 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on its processing time.

Please note we are unable to process exchanges. If you wish to exchange your purchase for an alternate size, color, or style, please create a new order from the website.

Defective Merchandise

Part of the beauty of each lemlem piece made in Ethiopia, is its handwoven delicate fabric. Due to this production technique, slight imperfections and/or color variations may occur.

We advise drycleaning all items to best care for your lemlem item.

If you receive your garment and feel there is a quality issue or that it is defective within 14 days of purchase, you may contact to discuss available options. We ask that you send over photos of the incorrect/damaged merchandise for our reference.
